For me everything is a trade-off. Choosing React can have some good sides(Like you said... more developer). And maybe some downside too.

I respect every framework because everything has it's use-case and solving someones problem.

I don't go around and say "This is only good for helloworld applications" Especially when I know many successfull business are already using it.
